Guia Marbella - Restaurantes - Get Involved

The Guia-Group network is a group of domain names all starting with the word guia-, the Spanish word for guide (and a hyphen). We have been developing our very own WMS, it took us a bit longer than planned, but we are proud to say that we have finished. We are now cleaning up and perfecting.

Our intention is to provide total web services, all extras included, you pay us a rock bottom price and we will provide you with, every service we have at no extra cost.

Once we have provided you with the basics, (A complete fully functional website), we then make sure you can be found throughout our network, presently that is about 40 domain names in the English language.

All our clients can be found in our world search engine, which will also be open to the public shortly.

  This is our central system, that connects all are websites and web services together, it is compatible with Personal Computers (PC), Laptops and Personal Desktop Assistants. (PDA)

  These sites are made to work on mobile telephones and personal desktop assistants, they look rather stupid a PC, not even worth trying, but if you want an idea, try this one.

Our Standards

The Guia-Group network administrators have worked hard over the past few years to ensure compatibility with most if not all types of browsers, especially:

• Explorer
• FireFox
• Opera

The programmers have closed every tag, doted all the i ’s and crossed all the t ’s, what we are trying to say is that we have tried to reach perfection. We agree that lots of people say exactly that, so we have provided a link to a special page that allows you to test everything we say.

Our web pages and websites use a tag type language, commonly know as html, we use html 4.1 Traditional, validate here. Our Cascading style sheets comply with css 2.1 standard, you can validate it too. Not to mention the tidy source code.

Apart from our system, we also do the normal hosting for those of you that like to build your own websites, and it can be fun at times.

A nicer experience

Like most of the world, we surf too, more than likely, we have the same problems as you do when visiting a lot of sites. So to try and resolve a lot of the problems that we found, we agreed to make some very hefty rules for our web portal guide. One of the heavy rules is related to the flashing images and banners, we believe that the surfer will stay to read the information because there is nothing to disturb them.

The Young

We want everybody to come and see us, including children, so we had to build something to protect them, we think that it is quit difficult to write a phrase using adult terminology. We also think that its quit difficult to search us using any of those phrases.
